Poll: Which of Apple's rumored MacBooks are you most looking forward too?
We've been hearing plenty of murmurs about Apple's plans to unveil new MacBook models over the course of the next few months. That includes a new mini-LED MacBook (2021) and a new MacBook Air. But which one are users most excited for? Take our poll to find out.
There are so many reports of new Mini-LED MacBook Pro models that it is safe to assume they're a certainty in Apple's product pipeline. We've heard about some big display upgrades, as well as a new 10-core Apple silicon chip with more high-performance cores, a return of ports like HDMI and the SD card slot.
As noted we've also heard these new MacBooks will come in two sizes, a new 16-inch MacBook Pro as well as a new 14-inch size.
MacBook Air (2022)
We've also been hearing lots of reports about an upgrade to the MacBook Air reportedly coming next year. From March:
Currently, Apple's best MacBook, the Air was updated in November with Apple's M1 chip and is going to get even better in 2022 thanks to mini-LED technology. In a new research note seen by iMore, Ming-Chi Kuo writes:
We believe that the MacBook will outperform the iPad in the coming years due to significant improvements in product competitiveness, and expect the new MacBook Air to also use mini LEDs in 2022 to help increase the mini LED adoption rate of the MacBook. By contrast, the iPad will only feature mini LEDs for high-end models, and overall growth momentum may be lower than that of the MacBook.
We've also heard recently that the M2, Apple's next generation of Apple silicon will reportedly feature in a new MacBook Air, which Mark Gurman says will exist alongside the M1 MacBook Air released last year.
