The director and cast of new Apple TV+ sci-fi drama series Dr. Brain have appeared at a photocall in South Korea ahead of its premiere. The show will go live in the country tomorrow and is available to stream in the United States today.

The new show is unlike anything already available on Apple's streaming service and has the hallmarks of a sleeper hit thanks to its sci-fi underpinnings.

Today in South Korea, Apple TV+ held a photocall and press day for "Dr. Brain," the highly anticipated sci-fi drama series based on the popular Korean webtoon of the same name by Hongjacga. Premiering globally with the first episode on Thursday, November 4 (Wednesday, November 3 in the US) on Apple TV+, followed by one new episode weekly, "Dr. Brain" follows a brilliant brain scientist Sewon who suffers a horrific personal tragedy when his family falls victim to a mysterious accident. Desperate to uncover what happened, he goes to extraordinary lengths to solve the tragic mystery by conducting "brain syncs" with the dead to access their memories for clues.

Those involved in the photocall included "co-writer, director and executive producer KIM Jee-woon, and stars LEE Sun-kyun, LEE You-young, PARK Hee-soon, SEO Ji-hye and LEE Jae-won."

Those keen to watch the new show will be able to do so on Apple TV, Mac, iPhone, and iPad as well as a slew of internet-connected devices including Fire TV sticks, game consoles, and smart TVs.
